This song was born from an impromptu moment one day, when I hit record on the Macbook and sang a few lines off the top of my head. At the time, I was talking with our family friend Derek about vocal harmonies, so I sang a few lines to demonstrate how I go about doing it. It wasn't until months later when I stumbled across the recording of these few seconds of improvised vocals, that I realized there was something worthwhile there. The final vocals for the song were recorded in a similar fashion, on the first take, loose and rough, as I wanted them to reflect the nature of this song...which could be considered a pop-punk tribute to The Ramones!
