This track has a special place in my heart...I wanted to create a driving rock song about breaking out of the "herd" mentality and laying it all out there. I also wanted to create an instrumental breakdown section that had a technically challenging bass line, overlaid by a soaring guitar solo...and of course all that driven by some earth shaking drums. I played some keyboards on this one too, for a little of that 60's rock organ flare. The song is really a tribute to my favorite band Rush, and I think the vocals toward the end are a testament to that! (if your listening Geddy, thanks for the inspiration!)
